      <description>&lt;span class="paragraphSection"&gt;Blue light may be an effective, nontoxic approach for treating skin and soft tissue infections, report researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School, in Boston (Dai T et al. Antimicrob Agents Chemother. doi: 10.1128/AAC.01652-12 [published online December 21,  2012]). The therapy may be especially useful for treating infections caused by antibiotic-resistant microbes and helping reduce the use of antibiotics in general.&lt;/span&gt;</description>
