Y1 - 1889/05/11 N1 - 10.1001/jama.1889.02400960020007 JO - Journal of the American Medical Association SP - 668 EP - 668 VL - XII IS - 19 N2 - Times and Register.  —We learn from The Medical Register, April 27, 1889, that a union has been effected between The Register, The Philadelphia Medical Times and The New York Dietetic Gazette; and that on May 4th the united journals will appear under the title of The Medical Times and Register, with Dr. William F. Waugh, of The Times, as chief editor. Dr. John V. Shoe-maker retires, on account of the pressure of other literary engagements, but the remaining writers hitherto engaged on the three, will continue their work for the combined journal.Ohio State Medical Society.  —The forty-fourth annual meeting of this Society is to be held in Youngstown, Ohio, May 22d, 23d, and 24th, 1889.
