Lawrence, Batesville, and James H. Lenow, Little Rock, have been appointed members of the medical board of the University of Arkansas, to fill vacancies.Illegal Practitioners Fined.  —"Dr." Caponia, Des Arc, who was arrested March 3, on the charge of practicing medicine with out a license, is said to have been fined $25 and costs.—In the case of Dr. William H. Hickson, Hot Springs, charged with violating the city ordinance prohibiting the drumming of patients, a fine of $25 is said to have been assessed against the defendant.Asks Appropriation for Tuberculosis Hospital.  —The Arkansas Association for the Relief and Control of Tuberculosis, at its meeting in Little Rock, unanimously agreed to submit a bill to the legislature asking for an appropriation of $110,000 for the establishment of a tuberculosis hospital, and its maintenance for two years.
