All of the features characteristic of heterosexual rape, which is justly condemned, apply to homosexual rape, with the addition that in the prison environment the man who is raped by homosexual attack has no way to escape further rapes by the same gang. This must have an influence on the incidence of suicide; it is unfortunate that the study was done without addressing this major issue.
