Written with a particularly clear style, it is concise almost to the point of fault. Ample illustrations, most of them simple cartoons, provide clear direction for those practicing the motor skills necessary for successful resuscitation efforts. Printed in two colors, the text also uses a colored background to highlight vital treatment algorithms and descriptions of essential techniques.
