We report here a case of acute pseudogout simulating septic arthritis in an elderly woman.Report of a Case  An 82-year-old woman was admitted to the medical service with a diagnosis of septic arthritis of her left knee. She had a history of osteoarthritis and had fallen two days prior to admission without injury to her knee.
