TY - JOUR T1 - A textbook of pathology for use in schools of nursing Y1 - 1939/05/27 N1 - 10.1001/jama.1939.02800210095039 JO - Journal of the American Medical Association SP - 2201 EP - 2201 VL - 112 IS - 21 N2 - The author presents pathology clearly, covering the majority of the material that is included in the standard textbooks. In great part it is expressed in a form that is too brief and inadequate for present day teaching requirements in training schools for nurses. The chapter on the urinary tract stands out above the others. There is an anatomic, physiologic, pathologic and clinical correlation which gives one a fairly good insight into the various entities included under the broad heading Bright's disease. The concluding chapter is an added useful feature describing essentially clinical pathologic methods and their interpretations.
