Furthermore, whenever possible the results of such a study should be subjected to statistical analysis. For this purpose we have employed the methods of Fisher1 because they appeared to be the most appropriate for the analysis of a small series.2 Both the value and the possible harmful effects of sulfapyridine must be determined as soon as possible so that physicians may know how widely it should be used.
