C., meeting of the American Medical Association was attended by the largest group of physicians and visitors ever registered at the association clinical session, which features programs for the general practitioner. More than 8,400 attended; of this number more than 3,000 were Fellows of the Association. The House of Delegates convened on Tuesday, December 6, but various committees and councils met for several days prior to the opening of the Session. Beginning Tuesday a succession of clinical presentations was offered in a wide variety of fields of medical endeavor. The interest of the visiting Fellows and members of the American Medical Association and of the officers of the Association was evident in the attendance at the sessions of the House of Delegates, the meetings of the Reference Committees and the clinical presentations.
