Thought must be given frequently to preparing large segments of our population for leisure if they are to use it and not abuse it. One facet of this problem is treated in a later chapter on recreation and social maladjustment.The place of public, semipublic and private agencies in development and furtherance of community recreations is described in detail in two chapters.
