The convention was a success, being attended by more than 3,000 physicians of Paris, and from France and several foreign countries. The convention was opened by the minister of commerce, and was closed by the president of the republic. Professor Delbet served as president of the committee on organization, while Professor Balthazard performed the duties of general secretary.
