This necessitates two things: (1) uniformity of nomenclature and (2) uniform criteria for using the nomenclature. Such labels, or nomenclatures, should as far as possible be descriptive and descriptive only of the conditions which they indicate. The criteria should be precise definitions of the states named in the nomenclature." This little volume has been most carefully prepared to meet this demand and should be successful.
