    Dr. William J. Kerr, professor of medicine, University of California Medical School, San Francisco, has been elected an honorary member of the Liga Argentina contra el Reumatismo, Buenos Aires.—Dr. Henry E. Dahleen has been appointed superintendent of the Santa Clara County Hospital, San Jose, succeeding the late Dr. Fred S. Ryan. The latter had held the superintendency since the resignation of Dr. Doxey R. Wilson last Summer.—Dr. Charles E. Schoff, Sacramento, has resigned as a member of the state board of health on account of ill health, it was stated.COLORADO
