The land was needed as a location for the new institution for the feebleminded of Alabama, for which the legislature has authorized the expenditure of $250,000.Personal.  —Dr. Frank W. McCorkle, Uniontown, has been appointed assistant health officer of Huntsville and Madison counties.—Dr. Percy O. Chaudron, Dothan, has been discharged as lieutenant-colonel, M. C., U. S. Army, and will resume practice.—Dr. Henry B.
