To be accurate, the title should read "The Symptomatology and Complications of Influenza as Seen in the Army in This Country." No attempt is made to record the manifestations of this disease as they appear in children, in women, or in persons of advanced years; nor as observed in our own, or in other, armies in Europe. Moreover, the statements to be made relate solely to the great epidemic which swept over the country in the autumn of last year.
