The FDA revised the content and format of prescription drug labeling in 2006 to make prescribing information clearer and more concise.1 Yet, although eptifibatide and enoxaparin are both predominantly renally cleared and both associated with increased bleeding complications in patients undergoing dialysis, the FDA-directed labeling of the 2 drugs is quite different.
