To the Editor: Dr Klevens and colleagues1 described a negative trial of partner violence screening plus a resource list, a resource list alone, or no intervention provided to women in primary care clinics. In an accompanying Editorial, Drs Wathen and MacMillan2 suggested that the combined findings of their previous work and those of Klevens et al1 highlight the need for case finding rather than screening for intimate partner violence (IPV).
