With this new edition, Comprehensive Gynecology has appeared in 6 editions spanning 25 years. The text has 5 major parts entitled “Basic Science,” “Comprehensive Evaluation of the Female,” “General Gynecology,” “Gynecologic Oncology,” and “Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.” The chapters within each part include headings, subheadings, charts, and diagrams and conclude with a section on key points. The key points sections will be a useful feature for readers who wish to scan a chapter to determine what is important or if it contains information that requires further study.
