CA Cancer J Clin. 2012;62[5]:283-298). Researchers estimated that approximately 33 200 Hispanic persons will die of cancer this year. The leading causes of cancer death among Hispanic women are breast cancer (15%), followed by lung (13%) and colorectal (10%) cancers. Among Hispanic men, the leading cause of cancer death is lung cancer (18%), followed by colorectal (11%) and liver (10%) cancers.
