While the book largely focuses on topics related to administration of therapeutic radiation, many chapters are considerably broader and will appeal to a variety of physicians. The multiauthored chapters are grouped into 4 sections, progressing from broad surveys of radiation effects to organ-specific pathologies. The editors have ensured that chapters are complementary, with a sense of natural progression and little redundancy.
