    Annual Art Exhibit.— 
    The Los Angeles Physicians' Art Society will hold its second annual exhibit in the lounge of the Los Angeles County Medical Association January 8-31. All members of the county medical association are invited to submit art work for this exhibit. There will be five classes of art for exhibition: modeling and sculpture (including woodcarving), painting, drawing, photography and handicraft. Additional information may be obtained from either Dr. Katherine Close, secretary, or Dr. Harold L. Thompson, president.Annual Surgical Meeting.— 
    The Los Angeles Surgical Society held its annual meeting December 13. The following program was presented:Dr. James A. Jackson, Madison, Wis., Open Reduction Treatment of Fractures.Dr. Albert H.
