TY - JOUR T1 - Gregg medical dictation series: A course for the student who desires to become proficient in taking medical dictation Y1 - 1939/12/09 N1 - 10.1001/jama.1939.02800490073038 JO - Journal of the American Medical Association SP - 2177 EP - 2177 VL - 113 IS - 24 N2 - When completed, this series will comprise sixteen volumes. Three volumes have now been issued, each a complete unit devoted to a single phase of the subject, such as general medicine, surgery and pediatrics. The object is to acquaint the student with the vocabulary of the subject treated and to present the easiest means of transposition into shorthand symbols. For this purpose, case histories are given in each volume, as well as a glossary containing pronunciations and definitions of words appearing in the Eighteenth Edition of the American Illustrated Dictionary by Dorland, and the Gregg shorthand outlines for them. The series should be most helpful to those for whom it is being prepared. SN - 0002-9955 M3 - doi: 10.1001/jama.1939.02800490073038 UR - http://dx.doi.org/10.1001/jama.1939.02800490073038 ER -
