S. Public Health Service at the invitation of the Chinese government has sent three officers to Southwestern China to investigate in cooperation with the Chinese health service the reported occurrence of a malignant disease near the Burma border and determine the menace to the United States incident to its possible spread to Oriental seaports. The officers are Drs. Louis L. Williams Jr. and Hiram J. Bush and Bruce Mayne, Dr.P.H. In addition to determining the nature and extent of the disease or diseases prevalent in the areas they visit, they will inform the Chinese authorities of the results of their survey and advise them as to control measures.Syphilis Clinics on Wheels  "Clinics on wheels" for treatment of syphilis in four southern areas have recently been provided by the U. S.
