This ethical analysis is a welcome alternative to more traditional ethical discourse based on the detached application of abstract principles to decisions. It provides an appropriate complement to the evolution in clinical practice from a biomedical approach to a biopsychosocial or systems approach now called "relationship-centered care."2 SN - 0098-7484 M3 - doi: 10-1001/pubs.JAMA-ISSN-0098-7484-282-2-jbk0714 UR - http://dx.doi.org/10-1001/pubs.JAMA-ISSN-0098-7484-282-2-jbk0714 ER -
