Nature. doi: 10.1038/nature09747 [published online ahead of print January 16, 2011]). The researchers, from the Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, generated induced pluripotent stem cells from the patient's fibroblasts and coaxed them to become cardiac muscle cells displaying abnormal electrical activity typical of the syndrome.
