The apparatus is remarkably simple, inexpensive, easily portable—it being no larger than a physician's gripsack—and its sterilizing properties as efficient as the more expensive and cumbrous apparatus. Its great advantage is that it is easily portable and always ready for use where a teakettle of boiling water is obtainable.Dressings may be packed and sterilized in this instrument at the physician's house and kept
