The subject is rather a difficult and intricate one, and while, perhaps, the utility and the practical value of its study may not yet be apparent, it must be borne in mind that no truly scientific discovery is without some utility and value, although it may not be capable of immediate application. In any event, due credit and deserved encouragement should be accorded those engaged in the pursuit of studies of this and like kind. In the present instance, however, there is already promise of fruit from the labors of those concerned in the investigation of the subject in question, and we may look for a distinct addition to our therapeutic resources in the management of numerous morbid states
