AB These essays or lectures were prepared for students, and are more or less elementary. There are four essays, the subjects being "Strangulated Hernia," "Cancer of the Breast," "Some Run Over Cases," and "Elements of Aural Surgery." The three former are made up of reports of cases, and the lessons to be deduced from them. The last, which takes up nearly half the pages of the book, is the most important of the series, and covers practically the whole range of aural disease.
