AB This volume contains little or nothing of medical value that ought to be new to a well posted physician, and there might be some question on some accounts as to its value for indiscriminate circulation among the laity. The really useful information it contains could probably be best communicated personally by parents and instructors. To these classes and to the clergy, when not otherwise informed on its subject, it may be useful. Still these are matters for personal judgment; the book is certainly better than many of those now extant on its special subjects.
