It aims to preserve the useful and discard the useless in all the multiple branches of medical science. Its function is selective, developed of necessity, by the superabundant medical literature of the day. We feel that a work of this class will grow in usefulness with each succeeding annual issue.These volumes make readily available to the busy practitioner the best fruits of medical progress for the year, selected by able editors from the current
