A circular letter from the Board of Trustees of the United States Pharmacopeial Convention is published in another column, in order to call attention to the qualifications and to emphasize the importance of the selection of delegates as early as possible by all bodies which can qualify. The work of this convention is one of immense importance to the medical profession, and requires men of broad experience and good judgment. The medical societies have an opportunity to show their interest not only by electing the best possible representatives, but also by discussing some of the many points that must be brought up, and perhaps by giving definite instructions to their representatives.
