    —In reply to Dr. Friedenwald's letter in The Journal, April 10, page 1196, I wish to state that I have used the eye bandage for ten years, and have failed to find it described or illustrated in the text-books or journals at my disposal. For that reason I published the article. I would not knowingly claim anything belonging to another.
