AB This manual contains material used in papers previously published in medical journals. After considering the classification and method of production of nerve injuries, the symptoms resulting from incomplete and complete injury of the nerve and the method of examination in such cases, Sherren discusses the differential diagnosis and treatment of nerve injuries in general. Injuries of special nerves as the cranial nerves and cervical sympathetic nerves, the brachial plexus, the nerves of the lower and upper limbs and the cauda equina, are also considered. The illustrations, which are numerous and clear, are in most cases original.
