On page 1390 the author mentions "preliminary results from the large European CEASE trial." This is incorrect. The Collaborative European Anti-Smoking Evaluation trial (CEASE) is ongoing; no preliminary analysis has been conducted and no preliminary results have been published. The study that the author cites as reference 10 is not part of the CEASE study. The sentence should read as follows: "In addition, preliminary results indicate that among heavy smokers, higher-dose patches are not more effective.10" The supporting reference should be the following: 10.
