AB The author writes at the end of this book that "there is no easy or definitive conclusion to what began as a work of curiosity." This book is, in a sense, a journey that we share with the child of a psychoanalyst and a clinical social worker who, like many other children of psychotherapists, seeks to penetrate the secret world of his parents' work as well as to explore how he himself and others like him have been influenced by that world.His search begins with the question, "Are common features to be found among the children of psychotherapists... that stem from different manners of behaving and understanding behavior?"
