The committee's investigation of boxing was directed toward reviewing the scoring system.It is unfair to lump all types of boxing together. Professional and amateur boxing have vastly different rules, objectives, and requirements. No matter what television commentators might say, the style and technique are not the same. To combine events and actions of the two types of boxing in one article totally misrepresents the facts. Moreover, the boxing programs for police and military training programs in no way resemble amateur or professional boxing.
