In addition, videotapes for teaching surgical procedures and skills are available (Surgical Skills 1, 2, 3, 4, four videocassettes, $780; the entire package is $1950), along with computed problems to teach clinical decision making. The instructor also has available a bank of examinations, both oral and written.The initial chapters are on general topics such as fluid and electrolyte balance, nutrition, hemorrhage, shock, wound healing, and infections.
