AB This volume consists of five parts: surgery of tendons, surgery of nerves, surgery of vessels, special injuries (burns, cold, irradiation, infection, warand sports-related), and traumatic amputations in the hand.Part 1, about tendons, is the most extensive portion of the book with 40 chapters. Like an encyclopedia, for any problem that comes to mind, it has the solution or solutions. Numerous ways to suture flexor tendon, tendon sheath, and pulley are described. There are 2 chapters that describe various methods of treating mallet finger.The color plates are beautiful but should appear in the chapters to which they relate, rather than all together in the middle of the book. The labeling is also confusing. There is an error in plate IV, No. 28. The upper subscapular nerve should not come from the lateral cord; it should be a lateral pectoral nerve as shown in plate V.There are seven chapters
