    Müllerian abnormalities occur frequently in nature. However, it is thought that they are only clinically important in about one third of cases.1 For this reason these abnormalities often go undetected. This case represents what we believe is the first report of a simultaneous intrauterine device (IUD) and an intrauterine pregnancy (IUP) in a bicornate uterus diagnosed by ultrasound. It serves to illustrate how a previously undetected uterine anomaly could have led to an unnecessary operative procedure and emphasizes the value of ultrasound in the management of early pregnancy.Report of a Case.— 
    A 22-year-old woman, gravida 2 para 2, had regular monthly periods until seven weeks before admission.
