The illustrations are upside down. Figure 1 should be reversed with Fig 4, and Fig 2 should be reversed with Fig 3. However, the legends to the illustrations are correct after the figures have been repositioned. There are still several things that disturb me concerning the cases presented.In case 1, a barely minimal scanning dose of radionuclides was used. The 20-minute uptake of technetium in a normal thyroid gland is in the range of 4%,1 which would make the scanning dose of technetium Tc 99m 20 μCi or less.
