AB In the Aug 25 issue of The Journal (240:747-750, 1978), the second sentence of the first paragraph of the ORIGINAL CONTRIBUTION "Symptom-Producing Interposition of the Colon: Clinical Syndrome in Mentally Deficient Adults" should have indicated that Béclère detected interposition of the colon between the liver and the diaphragm 34 years (not four years) after Cantani's findings were published in 1865.
