    I have always been impressed with the ingenuity displayed in the selection of cover art in color. The Aug 11 cartoon by Cruikshank tops them all. That doctors disagree, at times violently, should come as a surprise only to those who are ignorant of the history of medicine.It was a particularly fitting choice for the topic of sex education. The original of the Cruikshank cartoon is in the Huntington Library and Art Gallery in San Marino, Calif, where I live, and where there has been, over the last eight months, a great controversy over a proposed Family Life and Sex Education course. Having been a member of the committee, and having devoted a good many hours of prime time, I found it a fascinating and frustrating experience.
