As a result of therapy, four ambulatory patients have been able to return home, says clinical psychologist Eleanor A. Jacobs, PhD, of the VA Hospital and the School of Medicine at the State University of New York.Dr. Jacobs reported the study at the American Psychological Association meeting in Washington, DC. The report was also given at the Fourth International Conference on Hyperbaric Medicine in Sapparo, Japan, by co-author Peter M.
