RT Journal T1 COmma error in table values JF JAMA JO JAMA YR 1969 FD March 10 VO 207 IS 10 SP 1915 OP 1915 DO 10.1001/jama.1969.03150230129026 UL http://dx.doi.org/10.1001/jama.1969.03150230129026 AB In the clinical note titled, "Depression of Poison Ivy Skin Tests by Measles Vaccine," published Dec 16 (206:2739-2741), the table on p 2741 is misleading. The values under "ABCD" in the second through fifth columns should not have contained commas. Rather, each numeral relates to the acetone dilution proportion (designated A, B, C, or D) under which it appears. Thus, for subject 1 the reading under the second column should be 4443; these values sum to 15, and when this is subtracted from the lowest value for the subject (3220 [sum 7], in the fourth column) it gives the unit-change value for the sixth column (4443 [sum 15] — 3220 [sum 7] = 8, for subject 1).
