The dissections which are presented by line drawings were carried out at the Finchetto School of Surgery. The book describes these drawings and gives sketches which illustrate the faulty balance of forces which contribute greatly to the development of deformities. The author has drawn from dissection his concept of the faculty relationship of forces. From this and from his wide experience he is able to illustrate in detail his methods of treatment.The deformities seen in claw hand as well as the common deformities shown in the spastic and arthritic hands are carefully described.
