Indeed I stated that "feticide and infanticide are peculiarly Greek," but I preceded that partial statement with a careful perhaps. Furthermore, the remainder of the same sentence continues to say that ancient civilized people did not characteristically practice infanticide, but that many uncivilized Semites "and others" did so practice. Modern studies demonstrate that all Semitic peoples originated in Arabia.1 The Hebrews, the creators of the Old Testament, were originally a northwest Arabian nomadic, uncivilized people.
