AB Seldom has a more satisfactory book appeared on this subject. It covers its field thoroughly and scientifically. It is voluminous yet both readable and conveniently organized for reference purposes. Its chapters are well arranged. Its writing is not dogmatic, and its bibliography is complete. The diagrams and photographs are instructive and illuminating. It should be in the library of every pediatrician and cardiologist, and should prove a useful reference to the general practitioner. This review is short because there is nothing controversial in the book. No single chapter or subject is selected for criticism or praise because they are all of equally high quality.
