As all of these make valuable contributions to future planning, they should be carefully analyzed and correlated by all who are interested in the continued advancement of the nursing profession along such lines as will insure an adequate supply of nursing service in accordance with total needs.The report of the Committee on the Function of Nursing is presented in seven chapters describing the plan of study, estimated requirements and recruitment factors, specialization of functions, educational methods, the integration of nursing personnel in the health team, economic aspects and incentives and, finally, a summary of findings, conclusions and recommendations. There has also been appended a selective bibliography
