AB In his preface the author states that this book "is primarily intended for nurses studying for the Certificate of General Nursing of the General Nursing Council." In the short space of 203 small pages an attempt is made to discuss the diseases of the blood, of all the systems and of the joints and muscles, deficiency diseases, diseases of the skin and acute infectious diseases and to give some advice on the nursing requirement. Consequently there is not enough explanation of the majority of diseases to satisfy even a minimum of curiosity.
