RT Journal T1 A textbook of pathology for use in schools of nursing JF Journal of the American Medical Association JO Journal of the American Medical Association YR 1939 FD May 27 VO 112 IS 21 SP 2201 OP 2201 DO 10.1001/jama.1939.02800210095039 UL http://dx.doi.org/10.1001/jama.1939.02800210095039 AB The author presents pathology clearly, covering the majority of the material that is included in the standard textbooks. In great part it is expressed in a form that is too brief and inadequate for present day teaching requirements in training schools for nurses. The chapter on the urinary tract stands out above the others. There is an anatomic, physiologic, pathologic and clinical correlation which gives one a fairly good insight into the various entities included under the broad heading Bright's disease. The concluding chapter is an added useful feature describing essentially clinical pathologic methods and their interpretations.
